About Angel's Thai Cafe
Located at 136 Monroe Center St NW, Grand Rapids, MI 49503, Angel's Thai Cafe operates as a thai restaurant serving Grand Rapids in Michigan. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.
Portion sizes and pricing swing widely across this group, from a $10 lunch bowl to a multi-course tasting menu at an upscale sushi counter, so checking recent reviews and photos is more useful than the price range alone. In Grand Rapids, dinner reservations for popular izakaya, hot pot and Korean BBQ spots fill up on Friday and Saturday nights, so booking ahead or arriving at opening is worth it. Many restaurants across Michigan run daily lunch specials on weekdays that are not listed on the dinner menu, so it is worth asking. Halal, vegetarian and gluten-free options vary a lot by kitchen; call ahead if you have a dietary restriction rather than assuming the menu will note it.
Hours are published for 6 days a week. The most common schedule is 11 amβ8 pm. Note that it does not open on Monday. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (616) 454-9801. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. More information is available on its website, angelthaicafe.com.

We got the basil fried rice and the pad Thai. They were both ok. Iβve never had a pad thai like this one before. It was a white sauce instead. Usually pad thai is made of with tamarind sauce but I didnβt taste that at all. It was different but it was ok. Just not for me.

We had soup, spring rolls and chicken satay. The soup was incredibly delicious. The spring rolls were tiny, but delicious. The chicken satay, though... something was very wrong. The texture was off and there was a strong wrong flavor like the chicken had gone bad. We could not eat it. My stomach turned and I lost my appetite. I should've said something.

Curry Pad Thai with Beef + 5 Crab Rangoons from Angel's Thai Cafe! Spice level 3 out of 10 is just enough heat but I can handle prolly 6 or 7. Highly recommended. ππΆ π€€ Located on Monroe Center across from Rosa Parks Circle in Grand Rapids! This was a very quick order and month-watering spices and flavor!

Rangoons are ok. Sauce is more tangy and not sweet. Pad Thai is pretty bland. Maybe didnβt have it hot enough

We had a girls day walking downtown and decided to give Angela Thai a try :) it was amazing. Iβm a believer you should always ask the workers what is best on the menu, I have never been disappointed, and definitely not on this day. Angel gave me a beautiful recommendation, and for it being my first time trying it, it was fantastic!! Thank you for the service. You can call and order, it would make it faster for you, but still wasnβt that long of a wait for fresh food.
